{All Girls Parties} Girl’s Day In Soirée

As many of you know, we’ve been super busy this past month due to the Groupon deal we ran the first week of April. We sold 92 Groupons, which means we’ve been getting about triple the number of calls and emails we usually get (over 100 emails a day, alone). We are very happy to have reached that many people, but unfortunately that has taken away from the time we had to blog about the events we’ve done. I’ve been meaning to blog about this party since March, so here it goes! :) I hope you enjoy reading about it as much as we enjoyed planning it!

About 3 months ago we debuted our first “Girls Day In” party for my friend Yoly’s daughter, Lynette. I, along with my party girls Jenny & Oli, were very excited to take this on because we all love all things girly & pink. The party was a sweet gathering with 10-12 of Lynette’s closest friends.

Decoration

For the decor we wanted an overall girly & fun look! We chose pink, green, purple, yellow, and light blue as the colors. Yoly, who’s the owner of The Flower Pedal, put together these adorable arrangements.

Table Setup:

For the table setup, we chose a white linen with a light pink overlay. The plates were “wavy” plastic plates and we created these custom napkin wrappers with the chevron print (which was prevalent throughout all party details).

Candy/Goodies Station:

We decided to do a Candy/Goodies station. The candies we chose were Rock Candy, Tangerine Slices, Sixlets, Chocolate Drops, Pink Taffy, and Pink Gum Balls. We also included gel pens, mini lotions, mini antibacterial, and lipgloss.

Food & Drinks

For lunch Yoly served appetizers, pasta, pizza & salads. The drinks were sodas and delicious pink lemonade (which the girls LOVED). For dessert, Yoly picked up the cupcakes from Publix and had them do the frosting in the color scheme of the party.

Entertainment

We setup a hair, make-up & nail station for the girls. As they arrived they were treated to the services and they later were asked to pick out the costume they would like to model down the “runway” we setup.

The girls then modeled their chosen outfits down the runway and danced around.

Photography

The very talented and fabulous Josie, from Josie Leslie Photography captured the details of this party. Thank you Josie, it’s a pleasure to work with you!

A toast!

We concluded the party with a “Pink Lemonade” toast and singing Happy Birthday to Lynette. We had a blast at this soirée and so did all the girls.

The complete collection is available in our shop. Includes invite, cupcake toppers, banner, water bottle labels, napkin rings, thank you tags, and food tags.
