We’re very happy with the way the January Raffle turned out. We had two winners, 50%OFF for all contestants, no drama, about 500 new “likes” on our facebook page - it’s a win-win!

Have you ever been part of a contest where you get a ticket and a copy of that ticket is thrown in a bowl? And the winner is chosen by randomly picking a ticket from the bowl and if the ticket randomly picked matches your ticket, then you are the winner? Well this is exactly how this contest will work. As you all know, about a day after starting the raffle, we decided to have 2 winners. 1 winner will be chosen through random.org (like we’ve done in pasts contests) and the other winner will be the picture with the most “likes.”

Most candy stations include about 5-10 candies,  (Miami Party Entertainment gives customers the option of 10), each is displayed in cute jars/containers, jars/containers have custom labels, loot bags/boxes are included with custom tag, and the table is usually decorated according to theme and includes linen & balloon decor.

I absolutely LOVE candy/sweets stations for 3 reasons. 1. It makes for an activity (the kids love getting their own little custom loot bag/take out box and filling it with their favorite candy. 2. It eliminates the hassle of bringing everyone together for piñata and eliminates the possibility of a candy hitting someone in the head a little too hard. 3.They are just so fun & add that special touch to any event!

Here’s a super fun Mario Bros party we styled last year at the Cocoplum Clubhouse. The venue was very convenient as it had outdoor and indoor options along with a playground. Here are the details, enjoy!

Decorations & Candy Station: 

Our client wanted beautiful tall balloon columns for the entrance of the clubhouse and some to brighten the inside as well. Miami Party Entertainment provided  tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces & the rest of the decor. Here’s a few pictures:

It’s been a while since we’ve posted on the blog. It’s been a little hectic around here- and we are very grateful . September-February are usually the busiest months for us so we haven’t had much time to blog. I wanted to share with you this adorable Red & White Polka Dots Minnie Mouse Party from last month. This party was for one of the little ones in our family so we got to enjoy it too. Here are some pictures with the details:

This post is very special to me because it’s about my bff’s Bridal Shower. I was so honored when Nuemis asked me to be her MOH- she’s been an amazing friend to me so I was very excited for all the events to come in the year before the wedding. When the planning of the Bridal Shower came around, I asked Nuemis to choose the colors/theme and took it from there. Bellow is the scoop on this fabulous event! Enjoy!

Venue:

Finding the perfect venue for an intimate event like this one was quite a task. All the halls we looked at didn’t seem to fit with our decor plans and others were just too expensive. Thankfully, a sweet friend offered her home- she has a great open space that worked perfectly with the way we wanted to arrange the tables. Thank you Kaira for sharing your home with us and all the lovely ladies who attended.

Decorations & Paper Stationary:

Here’s a picture of the invite.

For decor I chose white linens for all the tables with pink & white and black & white damask runners. We set-up 3 6FT rectangular tables next to each other and made 1 long table where we all ate, chit -chatted, and played the bridal shower games. The one long table set-up worked really well and made the room feel that much more intimate. As centerpieces, I arranged 4 small cylinder vases and 1 large cylinder vase with beautiful hot pink roses (I got them from a fabulous vendor who doesn’t have a facebook/website yet. If you need flowers send us an email and we’ll direct you to her.). Over the table I hung 3, 36″ White Balloons (bellow is a tip for hanging things from a ceiling) and 4 hot pink paper lanterns. We also decorated the living room with lanterns and a pretty paper banner saying “Nuemis Bridal Shower.” I also made custom banners for the “Sweets” table (more about the sweets later), “Gifts” table, and “Savory” table. Here’s a picture of the setup.

Favors: 

For favors, I chose to do custom cookies with a damask imprint, hot pink bow, and little custom tag. The beautiful cookies were created by Erika, an old high school friend, who clearly has a passion for baking. Aren’t they adorable? They were super yummy too. I made the custom tags for these.

The other favor were pink cotton candy balls, which I got from Donut Divas. I made the custom tag and attached a hot pink ribbon to them.

Catering: 

For the food, I made some of my favorite recipes Chicken Salad Croissants, Greek Pasta Salad, etc. , the sweet mother of the groom helped with a platter, my bff insisted on helping so she made the spinach dip and I purchased some other stuff at publix (like the sushi platter, see menu bellow). On the sweets’ station we had a Chocolate Fountain, Strawberries, Pineapple, and Marshmallows for dipping, Sweetness Bakeshop & Cafe’s Cupcakes, Hershey’s Bars, Mini Brownies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Plain Madeleines, Chocolate dipped Madeleines, & Cake Pops. Sooo yummy! We were all on a sugar high! The drinks we had were pretty pink lemonade, mimosas, wine, water & coke. See pictures of everything bellow.

Entertainment:

For entertainment we played lots of Bridal Shower themed games. I found many of them online at  Bridal-Shower-Games. One of the games was “Memory Lane.” I custom made little cards for this game. Guests were supposed to write a memory they had with the bride and make sure they didn’t write their names on it. Then the bride-to-be will read each one out loud and try to guess who wrote each memory. I also made custom “Advise for the bride…” cards. Here’s a picture of the sign-in table. My bff created this super cute sign in book. Each guest would write on little cards and then insert it in the envelopes. How cute is that? The prizes for the games were inside the little black bags in the picture bellow. As prizes I chose Bath & Body Works soaps, lotion, and splash.

Unfortunately, the fabulous photographer Josie Leslie had an emergency and wasn’t able to make it to the event so I had to cover in for her. The pictures speak for themselves. LOL You should check out Josie’s work, she really has a passion for photography and her pictures really do speak for themselves. 

 I hope you can find inspiration from the pictures I was able to capture. I wish I had better ones.  I really enjoyed organizing this event, not only because I LOVE all things pink & girly but because it was for my amazing bff. Hope you enjoyed reading about it as much as I enjoyed styling it.
